New Science Building and Carbon Neutrality/Hot Water Phase 2

As we begin the enabling work for the New Science Building and Renovations to Shanklin, which includes extending the new hot water loop to the new building and south side of campus and moving utilities at the site to prepare for excavation, the trees east of Shanklin will be removed.  The 4 trees pictured below have been posted for removal to allow this work to begin.

The New Science Building landscaping plans include the planting of 120 trees of a variety of species including Gingko, River Birch, Paper Birch, Tamarack, European Hornbeam, Little Leaf Linden, White Oak and Bald Cypress of calipers between 3.5″ and 6″.  The New Science Building plans are available upon request.
