The following trees are scheduled for removal:

 

Exley – Sugar Maple – This tree is in severe decline.  Many limbs have dropped in recent months, and the tree is adjacent to a sidewalk.  You can see in the photo a couple broken, hanging limbs.  For safety reasons this tree needs to be removed.

 

Hall-Atwater – Hornbeam – This tree is also in severe decline.  Many limbs have dropped over the past couple of years.  This tree is adjacent to 2 sidewalks, a loading dock area, and is very close to the building .  For these reasons this tree needs to be removed.

 

22 Lawn – Elm – This Elm tree is dead and needs to be removed.

 

Film Studies/Zilkha Gallery – 1 Sugar Maple, 3 Ash – The 3 Ash trees are victims of the Emerald Ash Borer.  The Sugar Maple has been in decline for a couple years and is next to a sidewalk.  The Sugar Maple has recently dropped several limbs, and you can see a lot of dead wood near the top of the tree.  All 4 of these trees need to be removed.

 

267 Court – Norway Maple – This tree dropped several large limbs in a recent storm.  The limbs damaged adjacent fencing, and the tree is very close to the city sidewalk. The tree is in severe decline, and because of its location, needs to be removed.

 

Foss 7 – White Pine – This tree is in severe decline and has dropped several limbs recently.  The tree is next to a sidewalk and needs to be removed.
