This beech at Foss 5 has beech bark disease, and is terminal.
There are a few hemlocks left that are succumbing to the adelgid. Although we sprayed twice a year, the bugs returned, and have killed most of the hemlocks on campus.
Traffic, snow and salt got this one.
This maple has been weak for some time, and the added stress of the Film Studies project has tolled the end of this tree.
This maple is dying, and will be taken down along with its neighbor, the large maple on the corner, whose insides are rotted out.
This weeping beech was disturbed while amending the parking lot, and is dying. It will be taken down to prevent damage to persons or property.
This spruce is nearly dead, and will be taken down.

The fall season is here, and the leaves are falling. This is just a memo to the Wesleyan community that we do not waste the leaves.
